The drying cylinder siphon is a device used for fixed condensate discharge in the papermaking industry. Its main function is to discharge the condensate in the drying cylinder, thereby ensuring heat transfer efficiency and reducing dynamic consumption.
Drying cylinder siphon usually consists of siphon body, vertical support tube, oblique support tube, fixing ring, support ring, locking nut and other parts. The horizontal tube part of the siphon is connected to the support ring, and the oblique tube part is connected to the vertical support tube and oblique support tube through the fixing ring. This structure can fix and stabilize the water absorption end of the siphon, reduce friction caused by relative vibration, avoid siphon tube wear and tear, thereby destroying the siphon effect and making it difficult to discharge condensate.
Improvement of the internal structure of the drying cylinder can also improve the heat transfer efficiency. For example, by installing a water-breaking rod (spoiler rod or turbulator) on the inner wall of the drying cylinder, the thickness of the water ring inside the drying cylinder can be reduced to prevent the formation of water rings, thereby ensuring the maximum heat transfer efficiency of the drying cylinder.
