The vacuum roller is an important dewatering component on the paper machine, mainly used in the wire section and press section.
Its main function is to dehydrate and transfer the paper web, which has a significant impact on increasing the vehicle speed, reducing the burden on the dryer cylinder, and reducing the steam consumption of the drying section.
1. The couch roller is the last dehydration device in the fourdrinier section. After the wet paper web passes through the vacuum water absorption box, it is further dehydrated on the couch roller to reach a certain dryness and have sufficient wet strength.
2. The dryness of the paper web reaching the couch roller is generally 11-12%, and the couch roller can increase the dryness to 18-25%.
3. The couch roller is also a major driving point in the fourdrinier section.
